FOR HIGH RF PERFORMANCE OPERATION it is suggested to set the CARRIER switch to LOW and the PEAK switch to the HIGH position. This will give your signal that extra punch that is sometimes needed in order to get through the QRM.
Do not operate the radio with the PEAK switch set in the LOW position and the CARRIER set in the HIGH position, your signal will be compressed and distorted.
AM/FM carrier is factory preset at 2-3 watts on LOW setting and 18 watts on HIGH ing. DO NOT SET CARRIER HIGHER THAN 18 WATTS, IT WILL DESTROY THE RF AMPLIFIER AND WILL VOID ALL WARRANTIES!

I just got a raptor 2. from copper and got in real good time and works great looks good no scratches or anything. I use hifi on it and the radio jams get one while you can. thanxs for reaing,
