Good, reliable little power supply. Outputs 13.84 volts out of the box and dips to about 13.5 volts when transmitting on my Cobra 148 GTL, which is fine by me. The automotive style 12 volt plug in the front is really nice and makes it easier to plug and unplug 12 volt devices without cutting wires and wearing out the screw terminals attaching and detaching things. All that being said, there are a couple things you should know. 1) It tends to get a little hot on the fins even when not powering much, so I would recommend affixing a small 12 volt fan of some kind. I have several I've salvaged out of computers and just stuck one on the back and wired it to the front terminals so it comes on with the power supply. 2) Upon purchasing, I recommend first removing the top cover and tightening down on the nuts on the back of the screw terminals. Every power supply I've ever bought has had the screw terminals wiggle loose when I try to tighten down on them, and this one was no exception.
