Galaxy DX 99V2 10 Meter

The new DX99V2 is the only Galaxy all mode mobile radio. It operates on AM/FM/LSB/USB.
With dual MOSFET finals (instead of four or eight finals) the DX99V2 draws less than 10 amps and can be hooked up anywhere a standard radio is wired  no special heavy gauge wiring is required. The front mic jack allows this radio to fit into tighter spaces than the original version.

While the features are essentially the same as the classic DX99V, it has a few significant upgrades:

• High performance main circuit board (same as the one used in the DX98VHP) provides increased frequency stability and accuracy for sideband, as well as increased sensitivity and selectivity on receive
• Streamlined Chassis with Front Mic Jack
• Blue LED Channel and Frequency Digits
• Automatic SWR circuit
• Talkback circuit with on /off switch
• Red Modulation Lamp
• Echo and Voice Changer, but no Robot

• High SWR Alert (Red)
• +10KHz (Blue)
• Roger Beep (Blue)
• Transmit/Receive (Red/Blue)
• Comes with 4 pin stock mic
• 2-3/8” (H) x 7-7/8” (W) x 9-1/4” (D)
• Extended Three Year Limited Warranty

Well, I've had my 99v2 for 1 month....better than my dx959, (for sure)...Actually it is better than my 2 2950's. I put a Turner +3 desk mic on it....Everybody so far say "it sounds great." Very pleased with this radio.

This is an AWESOME RADIO!!! This is my 2nd Galaxy 99. My first gave out on me and that is why I bought this one. Copper Electronics tuned it perfectly! On AM channels I am at 1 SWR on channels 1, 19, 25 and 40. SSB locks in good too. I'm very pleased with mu purchase from Copper Electronics!!!

This new version of the dx99 is very good. It comes from Galaxy with schottky diodes and a low noise receive transistor. The rx is better than any other galaxy I've used. No drift at all, I use it as a base so maybe that has something to do with it. excellent audio reports on ssb. On am of course you get that huge audio Galaxy is famous for. I'm very happy with the 99v2. Hats off to Galaxy. In my opinion they hit a home run with the new board.

One of the best ten meter mobile transceivers I ever owned. Until I also purchased a President Lincoln 2 from Copper. Then they were both even matched.
