Dosy FC-50PS Frequency Counter

I think that the discription is very clear about this meter, it’s more of a test instrument that you use now and then than, it’s not a frequency counter that you leave in line. It only works in transmissions. I’ve compared the reading to my test bench frequency counter and it is right on. I like it’s portability. The only thing I don’t like is the speaker isn’t protected and if you place it up against your microphone it will change the reading. The speaker cone will touch your microphone and can’t move. I’ve wired a regular cb speaker and use it for testing. If you hold the speaker away from the mic you will be fine.

The meter seems to be a good unit. But it does not read continous wavelength. The radio has to be keyed for the frequency to read out. On sideband, you will need to use the signal tone speaker provided held up to the microphone while keyed up and the sideband frequency will read out.
