The PDC2 is a good watt meter for the money. I've had mine for 5 or 6 years and no problems. I'd say these are good for portability to get that quick set up in the mobile. Will work OK to run straight radio or small amp. These aren't the most accurate but will work better than good enough to get you on the air safely. If you want accuracy and want to run more than 100 watts all the time you'd be better off to buy a larger more professional unit. If you are like me and change radios out often in the mobile these are great for that. Who wants to disconnect their Dosy every time and haul that big thing out to the mobile? Just buy one of these for that purpose. I'm rating this one as fair/middle of the road. Good for what it is.
