great loud mic got it wired for the ranger 2950 dx6. works great with this radio.

Sound good while they work. Seem like they need some better QC at the manufacture the PTT gets scratchy after while the contacts where the mic cord connects gets lose I’ve had 3 so far do it. But a great sounding mic while they work

Good mic. I got three of these. Loud mic and looks good. About every two years. I spray some contact cleaner with lube on the contacts. Good to go.

So as you can see from other reviews.. This mic needs a little love after using for awhile.. But honestly.. This mic is great. As long as you get some contact/component cleaner and clean up the switch as needed.. Other than that.. This has to be one of my top choices for power mics..

I bought one when it was on sale a few weeks ago, it worked for exactly 2 weeks, then started squealing, I contacted Astatic they replaced the mic no questions asked, hope this one lasts longer, radio buddies said it sounded Great when it was working correctly
