COPPER PART #M00-05175 Complete Specifications, Modifications, and Non - Technical Review. By Lon ~ Tech808 ~ N9CEF FEATURES: The MACO M-103HV MAXIBEAM ia a innovation in Base Station Beam Design which enables the Vertical and Horizontal to be assembled for either 10 or 11 Meters. For example, using the chart's supplied, you can assemble the Horizontal for 11 Meters and the Verticle for 10 Meters or Reverse this or assemble Both the Same. It does not matter as the Verticle and the Horizontal Do Not affect each other. After 7 Month's the Antenna was Lowered and re-adjusted for final testing and the: 11 METER / CB VERTICLE WAS ELEMENT TUNED TO: (27.200 ~ 27.399) REFLECTOR = 18' 3" DRIVEN ELEMENT = 17' 4" DIRECTOR ELEMENT = 16' 6" REVIEW If you want the BEST of BOTH the 10 Meter Ham Band and the 11 Meter CB Band in a Single Antenna with NO NEED for an antenna tuner then this is the antenna for you! Or you can set BOTH the Horizontal and Verticle Element's to cover any frequencies you wish in the 10 Meter Ham Band or 11 Meter CB Band. With 15 months now of actual daily on air use and testing of the MACO M-103C-HV 3 Antenna it has performed flawlessly and has far exceeded all expectations that I had for overall performance, reliability and durability. The SWR during the last 15 month's of use has ranged from a 1:1 to a 1:5 across the band's on BOTH the Verticle and Horizontal Element's. The MACO M-103C-HV 3 Assembly Instructions are very straight forward and easy to understand to set it up for the coverage you desire. On a Personal Note I would like to give THANKS to Dennis/Tech291/CEF#291 and Yonv/CEF#456 for driving over from Ohio (424 Miles one way/848 miles Round Trip) TWICE to help with removing my old Quad Antenna and Assembly & Mounting of the MACO M-103C-HV 3 on my tower at 54' and Dennis/Tech291/CEF291 for making the trip at 7 months to change the VERTICLE ELEMENT settings. FINAL COMMENTS: I would highly recommend the MACO M-103C-HV 3 antenna for the 1st time user CB or HAM as well as the more experienced CB or HAM user who is seeking great overall performance in a small sized beam antenna that will work well with most any size rotor. IMPORTANT NOTE! With the FCC now dropping the code requirment this IS the PERFECT ANTENNA that will allow you to have the coverage of BOTH the 11 METER CB BAND and the 10 METER HAM BAND is a SINGLE Antenna. Respectfully Submitted, Lon Tech808 N9CEF CEF#808/HAM#33 CVC#002
