How much wattage was the radio putting out after the install of this? How much heat are we talking about here? Enough to start melting wax on the inside of the radio? Enough to justify a seperate heat sink?

Has anyone installed one of the Stinger boards in a Cobra SoundTracker radio? Lon stated they have rf issues and need extra shielding. Just what is the problem with the SoundTrackers?

747, I believe the AD203 Stainger Board uses the mosfet transistors so heat is not going to be an issue. Should not need a heat sink or any cooling fans period.
