Thanks for the review! I will eventually be getting a VHF amp as my IC-27A rig will only do 25 watts and I have it turned down to 20 watts because I fear with the age of my little radio I may not be able to replace the RF PA module if it ever fails.

I will most likely be looking at a more economical version though and I look forward to seeing reviews on additional models.
