Dale, This antenna has what would be called a 'medium shaft'. This antenna review here is a review of only this antenna itself. However, it just happens that this antenna WAS involved in a recent test along with many others, including one of those you mention, and it will be published soon. To satisfy your immediate curiosity, the SP-3000 did very well. Your radio 'Mythbuster' since 1998

Great review Tech 833. I've owned the SP-3000 since 2000 and it has been a great antenna. To me it out performed my wilson 2000. And cost alot less. I paid $17.00 for it at the time. Also put one on my son in-laws van. He's still pleased with it. And his RCI-2950 he talks all over the USA. |
