The size of this Desk Top Microphone from Workman is another plus: Size: 6-1/2" x 4" x 12" (LxWxH)Note! the 12" height is with the goose neck extended straight up)} as it will fit nicely on most any desk and not take up a lot of space. Another plus I really like is the simplicity of only having 4 control button's ie: PTT/LOCK and CH UP & CH DN with small RED LED ON AIR light. Radio's used in the Review and Testing of the: Ranger 2995DX/Magnum S-3200B/President Lincoln/Ranger 5054 DX100 After using the DM502B for the last 10+ weeks on 27.115~AM, 27.115~LSB, 28.360~USB, 24.975~USB and 50.130~USB all reports have been Good Clear Modulation that has punched through the pileup's. The 36" very flexible mic cord allow's you to place it most anywhere on your desk. Con's: The small hard plastic feet which allows it to slide on a hardwood smooth desktop. I solved this problem by filling the small screw holes in the 4 feet with dab of clear silicone which after hardening allows the mic to not slide. You could also add 4 small felt pad's to the mic feet. NOTE! To avoid having to rewire this mic for each radio that I tested it with listed above for this review I wired the DM502B for regular 4 pin Cobra/Uniden and used the Mic Adapter's listed below for testing.
