no...but i operated one at field day for about 10 hrs...nice rig, needs filtering though |

Mike, I'm not positive but look inside and see if there is a small black switch on the board any place for some reason I though I heard of such and you only had to throw the switch |

here is a link that shows some mods for this rig. i dont see any links to other sites so it should come through. http://www.kb2ljj.com/data/yaesu/ft-757.htm if it didnt come through, here is the expanded TX mod: 1. remove power from radio. 2. remove top cover (see service manual) 3. locate the black slide switch on the display panel. (to the right of center and halfway down the back side) 4. use a screwdriver to move the switch to the leftmost position. 5. reassemble radio. good luck, matt |

the switch is NOT in ALL versions of the gxII model. it may not be a USA model, but some of the last version required diode removal. most version 757 & 767's did use the switch labled 'ham/general', or 'ham/all'. |
