here's what it says in vol. 1 of the secret CB books: "the famous "screaming eagle" sound can be added by locating the large capacitor closest to the front panel. this is a 2uF @ 450 volts. replace it with a 20uF @ 450 volts, to create the sound." hope this helps, matt |

if you put in a 100 uf 450 volt it will screem & howl for about 5-6 seconds |

Hi, about 5 month ago I tacked a 40 MFD 450V CAP WITH THE 20uf 450V TO make the ping longer, it worked very well but I turned it on one day and the ping was gone but sounded like a ding and very short,Is this because of the change I made? and if so how do I repair it? it's a Mark 3 Thank you 3wheeler |
