These new 10 meter rigs from cobra look very nice as a fan of cobra i think they are starting to see more then 40 channels this is great the 150 gtl is am/fm 20 watts and the 200 gtl claims 100+ watts and is ssb as well.Looks pretty nice to me. |

I'm not wild about just an AM/FM radio either, but I bought one just to have one. I should have it Thursday according to the tracking information. |

Until I know where the sideband model is being made and how good it's going to be as a base radio, I'm not interested. Carl CEF-357 |

As far as I know the new ones have been improved but still not perfect! It was the first generation of 150's and 200's that really stunk! I have heard some of the newer 200's on ssb and they was'nt to bad. AM was ok too. Nowhere near the perfect audio of my Connex 4800! If they get cheaper I will buy one someday just for fun. Cbolt316 You remove component D37 which is the audio limiter diode but DO NOT remove audio limiter diode if you want to use the radio on FM as it kills the FM audio . JIM Road Warrior134 / MM0TXO CEF#858 HAM#230 CVC#116
