DO THESE CONVERT THE SAME AS THE TR 696F ? I HEARD THEY DO , I LOOKED IN MODIFICATION LIST AND DIDN,T SEE CHANNEL CONVERSION FOR 959 , BUT DID FOR TR 696F |

YES,
#1 ~ On the back of the channel selector switch locate the wires marked P6 and P5.
#2 ~ Cut open these control lines and place a SPST switch in line with them.
Thats it!
I have also added this information to the 949 and 959 listings in the Modification List.
