I just purchased a Heathkit SB200 and Would like to know if you can change out the "RCA" RF Input jack to a regular I think it called a SO239 antenna conector? If so, hows it done other than desoldering the wires and drilling out the hole to fit. Is there any other things that need to be done? thanks |

Joker, I have a hksb200, I dont understand what you are asking, the rca jack is for the foot pedal, or hand keyer, why would you want an antenna connector there? If it is so the radio will key the amp, you can have a wire made for that. |

Yes you can change it. Mine was done when I got it but I don't think you have to do anything special. I'll look at it when I get home and see if it varies from the manual. |

Joker2 Some SB200's were built with the RCA connector for the RF input. It is a simple job and it is perfectly OK to change it to a SO-239. Hope this helps |
