tech808 thanks for the info,i already have tried that place(great site 'cept for the bad popup).i still cant get the radio to deadkey any lower than 3 watts.and plus, when the variable is turned down that low,i lose all swing.it does about 3 swinging 5.5 to 6 on a dosy with the variable all the way down.with the variable all the way up,it deadkeys about 6 and swing 15 watts.anybody know how to get it to key less and still swing?i've never had a jfk before and hope it can do better than it is doing. thanx again Mike Insomniac1217 |

Hello Mike, I too have a JFK. In fact I own two, one old pcb the other new pcb. Great radios but have the same problem, need more swing. If you come up with a solution please share it with me. I plan to try some ideas on my next days off. If they work will let you know. Regards, Charlie |
