Hello to all and happy holidays, I am new here but not new to microelectronics. I was wondering if anyone here would have or knows where to find any of the echo board schematics, I have found alot of roger beep stuff. Thanks in advance. |

Not all echo boards contain the same chip technology. Newer ones are far simpler, with only one or two chips on them. Usually the numbers have been removed from these. The older type uses a 16-pin DIP packaged chip called a "bucket brigade CCD", with three (or more) small chips on the board with it. The schematic in the "Tube of Galaxy Schematics" is the older bucket-brigade CCD version. The diagram for newer "Turbo" echo boards with all surface-mount parts is out there somewhere, but I have yet to see any detail about what is IN the part with the number rubbed off it. A schematic for this newer one has limited value without a diagram for what's IN the chips. 73 |
