Travis, Take cover off and look for board with several jumpers on it. You will see a two hole plug going to board and right next to it you will see an empty space with two pins. Move jumper to those two pins and you got it. "Actually if you have Copper do a "Peak & Tune & Open" it will have a SEAL on it covering warrenty." If you do it yourself and break the seal and something goes wrong later down the line, you are stuck! It's well worth the extra $30.00 to know you are covered. And when you get it, it will be ready to go. Just my thought's. Lon Tech808 |

Uhh, 808, have you changed over a "DX" radio yet? The jumper pins are not active on the "DX" CPU like it was on all the earlier radios. If he doesn't get his "dongle" with the 3-pin socket on the end of the wires, he is SOL with one of these. I'm seeing more and more posts from folks who got the radio, but no dongle, and no way to obtain one by itself. I still haven't found anyone offering that by itself. 73 |

Thanks 808, I think I will let copper do it for the reasons you stated. That way I will have no problems thanks again, Travis. |
