I just ordered my kl-203 and was wondering if it needs any mods to work on 11 meters or are they set and ready to go?I'am replacing my kl-40 and i hope the 203 gets the same audio reports.Everyone always tells me how clean the kl-40 sounds.Can i expect the same from the 203. |

I recently purchased a KLV-250 with the KL-203 board from a different reseller <- Mistake! and I found that I had to convert mine myself. Dre's CB page had info on converting many different KL & KLV boards. On my KL-203 board I had to remove solder from the 'Service' pins labeled 1,2 & 3. 1 & 2 were soldered together, but for 11 meter 2 & 3 needed to be linked. skywatcher925 if you order it from copper it should be converted my kl400 was |
