Michael, Cannot be 100% positive without a schematic reference but guessing you may be looking at audio output transistors. I seem to learn something new everyday and have picked up a lot of knowledge from my friends here at Copper and reading Lou Franklin. Do you REALLY want to upgrade your skill and knowledge of everything radio??? Do you want to know the facts and blow away the cb myths??? Copper sells these books and I cannot express to you how valuable they are to a beginner! The "Screwdriver Expert's" Guide-by Lou Franklin and more advanced Understanding and Repairing CB Radios-by Lou Franklin Start with the Screwdriver Expert's Guide. I have learned so much solid info from that book. Almost everything I heard on the cb about radios was bogus! The Screwdriver Expert's Guide Understanding and Repairing CB Radios

Depending on what is printed on it - the one on the left MAY be a voltage regulator or as HW suggested an aduio transistor. It would help if you could supply any markings that are on it. Simon Tech237 KD7IEB
