The top of my imax 99 looks a little crooked its screwed on tight and only 3 years old is it just the way they are or is there something wrong cuz i didnt notice any splits.Its not major crooked it just looks like its leaning a bit.

Don't worry about if it's not damaged. My I-Max is is crooked too and when the wind blows it's all over the place. It does not interfere with my fun.

I used a level and set the bottom section of my imax to perfectly plumb...the top section always leans noticeably even in no wind...my antron99 was the same way, it's normal

I had the same problem. I replaced the lock washers between the sections with a larger size. The ones supplied were very small. Hope this helps. Jim

Or you could do what I did to my I-Max. I left off the lock washer and put a drop of red loc-tite on the threads. I also put heat shrink on all the joints with some sealant under the heat shrink to keep water out and thus preventing corrosion. Again, Don't worry about the crooked top.
