Installe a rm lowpass filter and my swr went through the roof? Checked for a short to ground and all was good? Any ideas??

check all jumpers and coax connections including any barrels or right-angle connectors..if all those are good and your swr returns to normal WithOut the filter in place, you may have a bad one...it does happen occasionally

also, I assume you bought the right one, but check to make sure the filter is designed for the band/frequency you are using

Also, although I doubt it, make sure it is connected in the right direction. That the out of the radio goes into the IN of the filter. Although I am sure most filters work either which way, it would not hurt to make sure. Thanks.

Never had that problem with any TVI filter.
Hummmm-maybe something wrong with the filter you have? Or your jumper coax cable? Connectors?

First of all, where are you checking the SWR?
I assume you are running an amp?
