i am trying to find mods on this radio but their not listed anywhere. i would like to turn it up to get good mod and power and would def. like to turn recieve up as for that is very crappy. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

for the recieve boost locate pin 14 on the pll chip and the positive side of c-12 install a 22k thru 220k ohm resistor betwee these two points the smaller the value the more the recieve is boosted.i would wire it thru a switch so you can turn it off when strong stations are talking because a strong(like someone really close to u)signal coud overload the recive section.
