I like to listen to very distant stations however there is a lot of static when doing so. I was wondering if there is a way to filter out some of this using a external speaker with a choke to filter out the lows and a capacitor to filter out the highs? It's just a thought. So far the 2970DX is doing a great job at recieving however if it can be better then why not? Any ideas? So far a simple addition of a old compuer speaker has helped out. Aloha |

Run the audio into your computers soundcard and run a DSP program. I have used this in the past and some of those program really work well. PM and I may be able to send you one to try. Simon Tech237 KD7IEB

Find a Heil ClearSpeach speaker. I have one on the Base, and it is very nice at knocking back the white noise. |
