Panda_bear,

The manufacturers of the Solorcon Imax Antennas and Anttron Antennas are two totaly different companies with totally different products (Antennas).

DAS Inc. / DAS Road-Pro is the Company that purchased the Solarcon Line of Antennas ie: A-99 and IMAX 2000 and other Solarcon Antenna's.

Ken at Anttron is planning on bringing back the Anttron 305 that was manufactured by Anttron in Ohio before he purchased the company and started in OK.

As for Solorcon I have not heard of any new plans for a new base antenna to take the place of the A-99 or IMAX 2000.

He must have thought it was April fools day, at 36 feet, about one wave length it won't work, thats why the longest vertical is .64 wave length about 23 to 24 feet. It could be some sort of collinear array, but I would like to actually see one.

Captian_radio,

After talking with Ken at Anttron today he said he did design an antenna that he sent out for testing so the guy may have had one of them.

Ken said the performance was not what they expected and the project was cancelled.

Hope this help's,
