Since the Kenwood TS-2000 offers 100 watts on HF, 6 meters and 2 meters and 50 watts on 70cm the PS 53 would be more than enough power to handle it. Even if you add the optional UT-20 1.2 GHz module. Thanks Lon I did look over the WHICH POWER SUPPLY DO YOU NEED? list you posted above. Those are all Tripp Lites and there is nothing wrong with those, but I was hopeing the KEN PS53 would run the TS 2000 ok and glad that it will cause I like to have a matching Power Supply. Thanks for the fast respond. May even get the matching Desk mic and external Speaker to go with it. STARFAİE KI4NBE CEF476 HAM181 CVC014

George, You will find that All Radio's are very very dumb and they cannot tell if the are getting the 30 or 40 watts of power they require from a Trip Lite, Pyramid, Astron or another brand power supply. The Tripp Lite Chart is handy for all radios and shows you what size power supply you will need to do the job correctly with radio's having an output of up to 250 watts. The Kenwood TS-2000 has a rated output of 100 W so by looking at the Tripp Lite Chart you can see you will need a 30 or 40 watt power supply to handle it no matter what brand it is.
