Has anyone ever heard of a radio called : HR3950 , yes I know it sounds like a HR2510 , it is a mobile type I believe that it is a 11/10 meter radio.I am looking for some info on this radio for a friend but I can't find any reference to it anywhere on the internet. Tnx Bob CEF451 |

I did a little research and I believe the name is TEK-HR 3950. If so, it's kinda like a Mongoose radio. Black face. I think it can do 6 bands, and it does AM/FM/USB/LSB modes. I did find the mic wiring for it. 1-SHIELD 2-AUDIO 3-TX 4-RX And this is the only pic I could find. And if you looked under the mods listed here in the forum, you would see some tune up info Lon posted. And that would this: Mod - rv-203 or cut r-270 AM power - rv-300 SSB power - rv-303 RV1 - Squelch RV101 - RX Meter RV202 - FM Deviation RV304 - TX Meter RV400 - Carrier Balance I hope this helps!
