HI I HAVE A RCI 2995 IT IS FLAT WITH RF POWER AT IT'S LOWEST SETTING BUT WHEN I TURN THE POWER UP MY SWR GO THRU THE ROOF DO I NEED TO RE CAL IT WHEN I TURN THE POWER UP THANKS PS WHEN I DO RE CAL IT WITH IT UP IT'S FINE METER ASTATIC 600 |

Yes any time you change the power setting you need to recalibrate to get an accurate reading. |

I think you need to recalibrate when you up the power going into the meter. Roger |

just a third yes. you need to recalibrate any time you change the wattage going into the SWR meter. this is why i always turn my mic gain down when doing SWR tests. noises cause a jumpy meter! matt |
