Does anyone know how to wire a workman diesel 4-6 preamp mic to a realistic trc451.This mic is a preamp mobile mic and uses a double A battery.Has me stumped and I cant find much info on it , any hints or suggestions would be a great help. Bob CEF451 |

Bob, you probably have checked the mic wiring guide on the list at the left but just in case you haven't, the radio mic pins are: Standard wiring: Pin4=Audio Pin1=Shield Pin2=N/C Pin5=Receive Pin3=Transmit Sorry, but I can't find anything on that mic in particular. Jim |

I have finally been able to wire the mic to the trc 485.I found a great site that explains how go through the process of explaining the various functions of different types of mics.So here is how to wire a Diesel power mic to a trc 485 Pin 1= shield +black Pin 2= n/c Pin 3=red Pin 4=yellow Pin 5=white maybe this will be of some help bob CEF451 Pin |
