i have i 148 nwst and i cannot find a kia7809P voltage regulator which i need its a 1amp +9volt is there a replacement out there? |

Uh, NOT stupid! You found it didn't you? That oughta count for something. And if you keep fooling with radios, you'll see that one over and over. A flat lead wire lapped onto the edge of a circuit board. Radios used in a poorly-fitting bracket will have the side rails pulled away from the circuit-board edge, cracking the solder bond. Shimming the gap between the outside of the radio cabinet and the inside of the bracket helps prevent this. 73 |
