Well heres another rotor question. I have an old rotor that looks similar in style to a AR40 but just a little bit smaller it also only has a 4 wire hookup unlike the ar40 which has 5 wires.I dont have a control box and was wondering if anyone can tell me who made this rotor, there are no markings on such as model # etc.Its not an Allance rotor , nor a CDE ? Possible it's the Channel Master Crown TV rotor, this rotor is rated to hold a lot of dead weight. Back in the early years we've had some very large TV antennas on one of these Channel Master rotors. Bob, is there any name or markings on it at all, maybe on the inside of the shell? Carl CEF-357 |

Carl I will check later when i can remove the tail piece, bolts quite rusty,a correction as to the size , it is the same size as a CDE AR 40 but only has 4 screws on the terminal strip, any AR40,s I have had in the past have had 5 screws on the terminal strip. For all intents and purposes it looks identical to the AR 40 with the only difference being in the # of connection points!! Further update , I think I have found the model, It looks like a CDE AR22XL, now I need to find a control box for it and I will be in business. Bob CEF451\PC451\CVC104 |
