I had this one on the bench last night and it worked. It had a 50 watt DK swinging 120. But after a while the output went away. This is what the owner has told me as well. Does any one know what it could be. After the output dropped out I looked for any hot spots and found none. the amp was cool no hot componets. could the pills be bad or going bad? The pills say 100 on them, what are the equivelent replacement pills for ths amp if the pills are bad? |

Maybe the owner was driving the amp to hard. A 50 watt deadkey sounds a little high for that amp. |

I used a stock radio with no peak and tune. DK was at 3.5 watts. The 50 watt Dk and 120 swing is the out put from the amp. I don't know why the amp sort of just shut off after a few times transmitting. Pre-amp works. I have not tried SSB. |
