Does any one know any thing about this amp. On the back of the amp is written

Holden Electyronics Co., Inc.
Houston, Texas
M100E
S/N 07411
12VDC NEG

On the front it has a logo with the leters HEC and under the logo is M100E. 2 tubes 6JU6. I am looking for any info posibily a schematic. According to the owner it used to work but now there is no output. The tubes look good but they might have gone bad.

I have a tube type mobile amp in my collection. It is an AfterBurner-Plus Bi-linear built by Hy-Gain. It has the same tubes 2 X 6JU6. I get around 200 watts PEP. Really nice amp!

Well I hooked it up with a stock radio DK 3 swing at 6 the output on the amp end is 40 DK, 80 swing. There is a buzzing sound coming from the relay. How can I get rid of the buzzing sound. Is the buzzing sound from dirty contacts on the rely?

The buzz is normal when you key just as long as it's not in your audio. My 2 tube mobile does it when I key. It's a high pitch buzz. Just means that the amp is working and I have been told it is supposed to do that. Kind of gets on my nerves actually!
The 40 deadkey is a bit high for 80 swing. Best to tune the radio to the amp. Try lowering the radio deadkey to get about 20 deadkey 80 swing from the amp for best audio in town. I ran my mobile 2x6JU6 with a Cobra 148GTL, 2 watt DK, 20 swing. Is how I got near 200 watts.
