A Friend of mine gave me a radio that powers up, works fine other than it has no output power, and no recieve. ??? I put talkback in it and hear myself through the speaker but thats all I have ? Any ideas ?

Does it have a resistor or choke of some sort going to the antenna connector? You may check that if you have audio through the radio, it may not be getting to the antenna jack.
