have a tube 2x6 S&S Scout amp. when ever i talk on the high or low side of the amp when i key up the mic my curser on my computer quits and i have to reboot it back on. also on the high side of the amp with a 2 watt dead key from the radio the amp will key in at 350 watts and swing to 1200 watts. but if i key a few times it will blow the 8 amp fuse in the back of the amp. on the low side it will key about 200 watts and swing to 374 to 400 watts but it won't blow a fuse no matter how long i talk. please help !!!!!!!! miss surfin the web and chattin on the cb.

Some serious amounts of RF are getting into the computer.. Unfortunately, most PC cases these days are not well shielded against RF emissions.

Good way too kill your pc also Radioreddz,I would suggest a low pass filter inline.

Also your ground system should be ckecked out also.Also its not bad ideal to run the pc and radio and amp on a different ac line.

I doint know how you tune the amp but would suggest to back it down , Thats way to much swing and could result in a dead amp also!
