I have a 1996 Dodge GrandCaravan, and I am looking for mounting brackets for my Ranger AR-3900 (I think the numerics are correct) it was given to me and I dont have the stock bracket and when I had it in my 2dr saturn (and a willson 1000 trunk mount,Big radio in littel car hehe) I stuck it inbetween the passenger seat and the center consol. anyway, Where do you all go to get mounting brackets? also any ideas for mounting in a caravan, do's or donts? thanks, KW |

I mounted a ADI-146 in the space left to put tapes. Pull it out of the dash cut the hole you need and screw the radio in. Put the holder back in the dash. When you sell the vehicle go to the wreckers buy a new holder and swap over. |

That 3500 was my first 10 meter. Mine was misplaced over the years. I used mounting brackets from a Radio shop. They came in 2 piece. The brackets for cobra, and unidens won't work. I'm not sure about the Galaxy. 88 to 99 might. PS.. The mini buttons on mine got corroded, It would not scan, or even tune. Keep away from Moisture, like in a truck Don CEF 336 |

I finally got my console built and in my van. I have my 3900 and a NDS RF amp (until I can get my funds saved for a mag mount wilson then I can use my texas star 400 that has a rec amp built in). I still need some electrical parts and I will be up and running, FINALY!!!!! My question is for milkman 21218, or any others that have experence with a '95' Grand caravan. Where / how did you get power ran to you equipment? I am thinking of useing the main + post on the fuse block under the hood and snaking the wires through the drivers side fender and in. With plenty of electrical tape and wire loom for insulation around some of the bends. any advise would be great. thanks kw CEF 856
