Can anyone tell me if the Yaesu FT-8900 can be expanded to cover 11 meters also? |

AND its got a problem on 10 meters with the deviation being too narrow ..... If you realy want to go CB FM find a DR-M03 alinco |

I wasn't even thinking about the FM aspect- duh! I forgot it was FM only... Maybe I was thinking about the 857. Can you transmit on 11 meters with it(the 857)...AM/ssb. I use a CB alot at work from my vehicle and would rather not have two radios cluttering up things. New to ham radio and feeling pretty unknowledgable-as I am!. Any suggestions on a good multi-band radio? I have just received technician class license and would like to upgrade it later, so a radio with that in mind...ie. HF freqs. but also freqs available to tech class. |
