ask the CEF members that have heard my 150 watt ar3500 loacally & on DX, AM & SSB-it's probably close to 40 people!. i have the factory installed speech processor, & it makes NO DIFFERENCE which mic i use-stock, road devil, 1104c or 526t. i am proud of the audio quality reports that radio gets across the world.  |

"WHEN" I get my dirty little paws on one of them AR's I hope to tie it to one of them there SuperDEduper JDC-201 compression desk mics!
I talked directly to one this net at S-9 thanks to CEF198 on LSB and STILL have that sound/audio locked in my head. Awesome audio...as described in my contact report..."Mechanics" Ranger Base sounded like a world class HF station!

IF I wanted to use a hand mic I might be inclined to rewire one of my Astatic 575's. Those things are the BEST....DM452 a healthy second if I could get used to the shape.
