I am still planning antenna system. If I decide to use the Maco 3el. for now with my 3 elm. 6M antenna (both horz.) how close can I put them together above the rotator. I have a heavy 10' mast, and that would be good for me if it will work? Even a little closer would be better if possible. Should the 6M or 11M be on top? Does it matter? Sorry for the seemingly dumb question, but I have only ran Loops on 6M, and PDL II's on 11M. No experience with these types of beams, and being new in town, and off the air I have nobody else to consult... Tnx. 738 |

In theory a quarterwave at the higher frequency is the MINIMU distance they should be spaced. Having said that I'd recommend the greatest distance you can get without becoming a problem. |

I should have added that the 6m one needs to be on topp and the minimum distance would be around 1.5m or approx 5ft. |
