I was wondering if any one knows if you can hook a remote switch up to the texas star 667v? I know they make a remote switch for the 1200 and 1600 but not for the 667v, but does anyone know how to modify the switch in the 667v to work with the remote they sale for the 1200 and 1600? Any info would be help full. thanks dave |

leave amp switch in 'off' postition. get another switch(or even the TS 1200/1600 remote switch) run it from 'control position'(or front seat of car) to the amp by way of an added jack, or just through a grommeted hole, go to the amp 'on/off' switches' wires & add wires from 'remote switch'. with amp switch ALWAYS KEPT OFF, the remote switch will be able to turn amp on & back off. you're not messing with power source wiring or needing high power handling capacity switches. |
