Looking at the beams they don't look no different then the Maco® M103 & M104 but I did notice the Connection: UHF-female As the Maco's® use the So-239 Connection. The Sirio® S-2016 Omnidirectional Ground Plane Antenna looks to be like the old Spectrum® 1600. Did or is Sirio® buying out Spectrum® and/or Maco®? |

Sirio does make copies of antennas: Sigma 4 ect./ So, it may be a copy of the Spectrum 1600. |

say hey 505, no theres no jump in hugh amounts of gain on the look alike beams, but ill put my jo gunn star 6 up aginst any beam in a windy or icey condition!! huummm.. also as most operators tend to take j gs figures with a grain of salt,== well!! lol..so far my star 6 has had 80 mile an hour winds and hardly moves?? but ill agree, to each his own preferance in these matters?? just adding my nickles worth.. yaall have a good weekend!! thanks. thehobo 274150 am monitor ch |

the craftmanship of that jogunn is really good but he was talking about thier gain figures.and just how do they measure audio gain ?what type of equiment could possibly do this...lol.last i knew my antennas didnt talk.if i could find an old set of molseys id take ya up on that challenge.id think youll find thier gain isnt much better than say maco ..if any but built better .but hundreds of dollars better come on |

Sirio is an Italian antenna manufacturer. Do a search of Sirio antenna to find their site and check out their other products. They have an antenna called the Vector 4000 which is like the old Antenna Specialists Sigma 4. I wish someone would make the old SuperScanner antenna again. That thing was awesome. Guess it is too costly with the electronics that make it work. |

I would suspect they could make the electronics for the super scanner now a lot cheaper. I don't even think there was much in that super scanner you could even call electronics from the diagram I saw. |

Is this an Extra Class Ham Trick Question? With a rotor they will work great BOTH on VERT and HORZ. Or you can just use them for VERT or HORZ if you do not have a rotor for Vert and Horz. Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9CEF CVC#2 |
