Jameslarson, I just made contact sheet up for myself using Word Perfect on my computer showing: DATE / TIME / CEF # / CVC# / HANDLE / STATE / COUNTRY / SIGNAL / COMMENTS And numbered 1 thru 30 on each sheet. Or you can use THIS ONE! OR Do a GOOGLE SEARCH www.google.com FOR Radio Log In Sheet and you will find PLENTY of FREE ones to print and use. Hope this help's Lon Tech808 CEF808 N9CEF CVC#2 |

Have a printer? Just get a general idea of what's suppose to be on a log sheet. Create your own on computer and print it out. As you can tell, i'm not up-to-date with any of the logging programs. |

What has worked for me because I get to excited to write correctly (ha., ha.), and when I do 6M it's hard to make out sometimes. Is I use a cassete recorder, when a band is open I just have it paused and ready to go. Then I just tap pause and it records. Amazing what I can pull out later, then xfer to a paper log/QSL card if needed. That way I can concentrate on conversation, tuning, etc. |

Actually, I wonder why people would document their illegal activities??? It looks like if an enforcement action would ever come their way...that they would just be providing even more evidence to the case against them. |

James, Yaesu used to put out a nice spiral bound log book with everything you would ever need. I have one somewhere here that i used to use but like my memory it has gone into hiding. Don't know if they still publish it. I bought mine from Tandy Electronics (Radio Shack) years ago. Rldrake, Not so long back the authorities in Europe went through DXcluster and put heaps of operators to the sword. One operator here in Australia had his radio confiscated and was told if was caught operating outside the 40 channels EVER again he would be facing a fine that would float a third world country and possible gaol time. Actually i will do some more checking and get back to you about that. Cheers and Beers, Bob CEF 703, Eastern Australia. |

'ии in NY' contacted 'hotwire in IN' probably holds less water then 'X2XXX' contacted 'X5XXX'. the amateur calls are totally traceable-if they are legit. CB unit #'s usually have nothing to identify them to anything. if they gotcha on FS meter & on tape-they gotcha. |
