Hello I just came across a 4 tube elkin with 6146 tubes. How rare is this? I know most of them came with 6dq6 , 12dq6 , or 1625s. It is a little bigger than the regular 4 tube and has a keying tube. Not a driver, a rf sincing tube in the keying cerkit. It has 2 tuners on the front insted of 1 like most Elkins and it has a crome strip across the top. Thanks Tim

elkin stopped making amps and them come back recently, this time with a slightly new design,as well as a more affordable tube package.but they are not as yet wide spread as the old verisons.it seems to be confined to the north carolina area where they are built.they seem to be for sale to a few NC natives and close friends.one or two show up on ebay everynow and then.(the new verison)i missed one,but i'am trying to find out more about how to buy them, reason being that i live ACROSS the boarder from NC. 505 love coumtry
