I have a cobra 29 nw the lights on the face does not work. Does anyone know how to fix this? |

If the nightwatch radios are anything like the backlight the Galaxy 95T has then its more difficult than just changing a bulb. I have been told by my local tech that they use a fiberoptic system to light the faceplate. The cobra may be different. I have a 4 year old cobra148 nightwatch that I used everyday with lights at full bright. The only trouble I had was that the dimmer knob would make the backlight flicker when I adjust it. I would inspect the dimmer knob and possibly a cold solder joint. This is the first time I ever heard of a nightwatch burning out. good luck and 73 |
