Does anyone remember the golden eagle 750 or 1000 watt amp? I had a 750 and realy abused it and it survived several years before I sold it, they would do well more than advertised power and the best looking amp i have ever seen they looked more like a big radio than an amp, sure would like to find one for the shelf 73's N3RIB CEF762/HAM 195 |

I remember the 1K,a friend of mine had a new one on a Penetrator and I loaded that amp up after we got it all in the air and connected and was talking to 2 different people in the same place in Hawaii...not a bad trip from Indiana....it was doing about what it claimed...close to the 1K mark...I really liked the LEDs that lit across as you modulated...nice look...I have not seen one of those for a long time,Jon. |

I had the 750, worked like a charm, nice and clean. To bad I was young and dumb and full of pastry filling. I sold it, and wish I had it back, that was like 20 years ago. |

Hello I have one of each now, the 1K is a kenrich? I think is how you spell it, im not shure its in storage its the one with the lights across the front and the 2 big meters. But the 750 is made buy someone els I think it is close to the color of a golden eagle radio with Golden Eagle 750-II on the front. Wouldent take enything for eather of them. The 750 has tubes out of an other amp in it that I know has been in use for 30 years. Now you got me wonting to get them out and key them down and there too hevy to be carring around.LOL Have a good one. Tim |
