What radio would be good for my bikes? Harley wants 1300 bucks for their radio, that includes installation. I told the guy that was insane. So I need an antenna, a radio, and a miniature 500 W amp that will fit in a matchbox. Any good ideas for antenna and radio. Serious ideas please, not the usual rat ones. |

if you want just am then what about the uniden 510, they are a good little radio and not expensive, that way if it were to get wet you haven't lost a lot of money, just a thought. James CEF 590 Va Beach |

Look at RF Limited's website and think to yourself after looking at the MotoComm page. It'd be nice if they made a CB but I think I'm going to buy one set for my ATV to keep in touch with other riders, it will be nice when teaching the boy the finer art of riding..... They are helmet systems... You DO wear a helmet right? Chad |

Wildrat I used a helmet cb when riding to Florda with my dad. After 500 miles of my dad in my ear I wanted to ride off a cliff to my death! I would suggest the little cobra model with the remote transciever or something you can tuck away and use when needed like on the side of the road. You may have better nerves than I do but there is no way I could do it for very long. All I wanna listen to is the wind and the motor rumble. Now XM radio on the other hand.......73 |
