Maybe they saw Pat's "No Galaxy's" logo and took it to heart. Pat, you have more influence than you know. I've got the next logo for you to sport: "NO IRS". Think it will take hold? |

Freebird I have yet to hear the rumor. The 88 and 99 is the top sellers for Galaxy I think. More believable maybe the 33 ,44, 55 66 or 77. Although with all the competition you just never know. Not a Galaxy fan but I would hate to seem them go . I have friends who love Galaxy and stand by them. See! Pat can't even bring himself to post on such a sensitive topic! Probably out right now buying up all the 88s and 99s he can find! |

Lol Pat. The reverse is true. EVERYTHING you said has caused this mess. The most vociferous poster always gets blamed, and the award goes to YOU. 2400 posts...nuff said.

The 88 has been discontinued and the 99 is still in production for now but it is rumored to be close behind. |

Why would anyone buy a Galaxy 99 when you can get a Magnum S9 for about the same price? If they can't sell many Galaxy 99's they have no reason to continue making them. When the 175 watt S9 comes out, the 95t's days may be numbered. |

95T vs 175 watt S9 that actually receives like a radio should...and has external echo controls...and let's see...oh yeah...doesn't drift on sideband...doesn't sound bassy like the 95T...actually HAS an RF Gain control...and the story goes on and on and on. Bye-bye 95T/6900 F150/6300 F150/4600 Turbo. Laters. Your days are numbered. At least by those who take the time to research before they buy. |

Well good. They have so many models that are not that much different from each other, it's insane. Why do they need umpteen AM models, and a boat load of of other models, and so on. Make 1 or 2 decent AM's and a couple middle of the road SSB'ers, and a top shelf SSB rig to keep the S-9's at bay. |

You can get a repair manual for most galaxys from them you might inquire. As for FM why would any one disable it unless it no longer works even so its useless on cb anyway. |

Bruce Are you saying that FM on the cb doesn't work very good ? Heck I would rather talk on FM all the time but it is not legal on a cb ..I have talked from West Coast to the East Coast on fm. And with a 400 watt Class C amp. it even works better |

Well, Magnum doesn't have a robot board...so uuughhhh. What do ya think about that Pat? I actually kinda like the 99. Never had one or worked on one. Worked on a 88 and I just didn't like it. I don't like the buttons, but to each his own. Kinda like the 73, I hated to see it cut out. I was hoping to get one to add to my collection. Then I sold the collection. But now I'm thinking of starting it back again. My plan was to own one of all the DX and Big Rig Series radios. I don't know why, just something I want to do. I guess I could take them all and lay in the middle of them and take a picture. Then email it to Pat. HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!!!!!!! Now that would be awesome to be able to see his face when heard "you've got mail" and opened that attachment! You know if they cut out all the good radios they have, then their slogan could be "Oh no...we suck again". |
