Anyone know the wiring for the above combination? I'm having NO luck whatsoever........ Thanks (the Alan 9001 I understand is the same radio as an Emperor TS5010}

Bert, if it is the same as a Emperor TS-5010 try:

PIN #1 ~ WHITE
PIN #2 ~ SHIELD & BLUE
(or Just SHIELD) and BLUE N/C)
PIN #3 ~ RED
PIN #4 ~ N/C
PIN #5 ~ N/C
YELLOW N/C
BLACK N/C

Thanks for the reply Lon.
I tried it like that and I still get a humm in my transmit audio. I'll do as you also suggest and just put the shield on pin 2 w/o the blue and see what happens........

hmm interesting i had one also that had a humm
had it rewired 2 different ways never did figure out why it had that hum.mine had it with just a carrier and no modulation

Lon, I tried it both ways you suggested. The first method still produced the humm. The second, with just the shield on pin 2 produced no modulation. I'm stumped! Thanks for trying...

Dale, thanks for your input. A friend of mine five miles away has an intermittent hum on his RD104E as well.
