Wankle FREQUENCY ADJUSTMENT AM - L19, USB - L27, LSB - L21 Remember though you'll void your warrenty, you may want to send it in instead. Also you may want to know FREQUENCY COUNTER / MCU BOARD C105 - Counter Adjustment BC |

bc910 is absoulely right but this is alot more complex then a simple peak and tune ya really need an external freq counter to do this mod correctly, cause once the transmit is all aligned up then ya have to readjust your built in counter on the radio.my 2 cents worth dale/cef426 |

ok , warrenty is long expired. I bought this radio used , it is about 1 year old. It works very nice just the fine clarifier has to be about 9 am to be on frequency. yes the fine clarifier is unlocked i checked. I have a frequency counter and oscilloscope so I'm going to attempt it. Looking at the galaxy 99 alignment procedures and schematic it looks mostly the same. I will be careful. I will check test points against the S9. I noticed some test points missing but found out where they went.I did some test measuring and found they are the same as the galaxy's I'm going to try it this weekend. |
